About The Position

Oversees all general predictive and preventative maintenance of overall building (Plumbing, Electrical, Structural, etc.) for multiple facilities within the region. (Usually less than 200-mile radius) Directly leads technicians that conduct the hands-on maintenance at the facilities. (10 - 15 Direct Reports) Would require approximately 50% or more travel within the region. Leads, motivates, and develops technicians. Works directly with Store Managers on their facility services needs. Leads daily calls with technicians and holds them accountable. Oversees budget. Manages and evaluates workload. Ensures tickets are being escalated properly. Works directly with different vendors and contractors if needed. Reporting and analytics. Recruiting and hiring of technicians.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field and 3 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area OR 5 years' experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related area
  • General Facilities Services / Overall Building Maintenance Experience - 3-5 years
  • Electrical, plumbing, and/or mechanical experience
  • Leadership skills to lead, motivate, and develop others
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving skills with route cause and breakdown analysis experience
  • Customer service skills

Responsibilities
