About The Position
The Manager, External and Corporate Communications will be responsible for developing and executing external communications strategies that enhance DaVita's reputation. This role involves collaborating with senior leaders across various departments to align communication strategies with business objectives, driving projects that support DaVita's reputation, and providing counsel on media and external communications activities. The position requires a strategic approach to measure the impact of communications on business outcomes and brand awareness. In addition to external communications, the role includes media relations and outreach, where the manager will cultivate relationships with key news media, handle sensitive media requests, and monitor news coverage related to the company. The manager will also operate in cross-functional teams, advising on communication strategies and ensuring that all key teams are engaged in the communication process. The position also involves managing special projects, writing and editing materials with a company-wide impact, and mentoring team members to foster professional development.
