This role will support the Corporate Human Resources team at our World Headquarters location in Detroit, MI. This is an onsite position with the flexibility to work remote one day per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance or closely related field.
  • 5 years of experience in Compensation or Global Mobility.

  • Ability to analyze complex data to identify trends and advise business leaders.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation of the Compensation, Discussion & Analysis, related compensation tables and shareholder proposals for inclusion in the annual Proxy Statement.
  • Support the design and development of compensation programs for executive officers and outside directors for approval by the Board of Directors.
  • Partner with senior management including Senior Vice President Human Resources, CFO, General Counsel and outside advisors including independent compensation consultant and proxy advisors.
  • Lead the analysis and administration of executive officer compensation programs, including executive salary surveys, annual and long-term incentive programs, stock ownership policy and other programs.
  • Prepare materials for the Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors at quarterly meetings.
  • Administer the company's executive compensation programs including the Long-term Incentive Program, Change in Control Plan, Severance Program, Executive Deferred Compensation Plan and Executive Retirement Savings Plan.
  • Monitor equity share pool usage, overhang and burn rate within parameters established by proxy advisors to ensure share availability as needed.
  • Prepare analyses and other disclosures for various public filings with the SEC.
  • Coordinate international expatriate assignments and domestic relocations.
  • Consult with external vendors including relocation supplier and tax advisors.
  • Manage all day-to-day relocation activities for associates.
  • Establish, implement and maintain domestic and international relocation policies.
  • Develop and improve relocation programs and policies based on the best market practices to meet business needs.
  • Communicate relocation policies to associates impacted and finalize and document international assignments with associates.
  • Support HR Business Partners regarding associate relocations and immigration activities.
  • Track, forecast and report mobility related costs, including processing of external vendor invoices and international assignee expense reports.
  • Support payroll, HR Business Partners and tax advisors to ensure the accuracy of associate payroll.
  • Prepare monthly relocation accrual for Corporate Finance.
  • Prepare annual budget data for international assignments.
  • Manage the process of obtaining all year end expense data for inclusion in associate W-2 and coordinate with payroll and tax advisors.
  • Prepare Corporate Human Resources budget and monthly forecasts.
  • Monitor monthly actual results as compared to budget and forecast.
