Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and Seven Years’ Experience OR Masters' Degree and Five Years’ Experience

Nice To Haves

  • BA or BS degree in Business or Accounting.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience with Hyperion Applications and Oracle ERP
  • Experience in biotech or pharmaceuticals industry a plus.
  • Experience in multi-national organization a plus.
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite particularly in Excel and Database structures is required.
  • General accounting knowledge
  • Experience with project reporting, operational accounting and reporting a must.
  • Demonstrate excellence and versatility in undertaking complex and global organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Process all purchase orders for team
  • Serve as financial systems administrator
  • Provide customer support for the users of financial systems to ensure accuracy of data and develop training materials (e.g. recordings, quick reference guides, etc.) to facilitate adoption of these systems
  • Partner with study leads to manage monthly accruals and invoicing
  • Work with leadership team to forecast and track T&E, congress attendance
  • Coordinate and tracks issues and works with business to troubleshoot.
  • Assist in solution design of financial systems based on functional requirements and understanding of finance systems and business
  • Provides ongoing analytical support to management including preparing budgets and forecasts, and supporting the portfolio review, strategic planning, and budget processes
  • Conducts monthly reporting and variance analysis and maintains a consistent internal reporting structure within consolidations and production environment
  • Owns the execution and distribution of monthly management reports and ad hoc reports as required
  • Design data visualizations and reporting
  • Assess and implement new data analytics, AI and business intelligence tools to drive capabilities to advance resource modeling and forecasting
