We’re committed to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. #DXCSMARTFirst Roles and Responsibilities: • Lead the design and development of complex customizations, extensions, and integrations in D365 Finance & Operations using X++ and supported extension patterns. • Oversee the technical architecture of assigned modules and ensure alignment with Microsoft best practices. • Develop and optimize technical components, including data entities, batch jobs, workflows, APIs, custom services, and security configurations. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve high-priority application issues across dev, test, and production environments. • Support integration scenarios involving OData, custom services, Azure services, Power Platform, and external systems. • Work closely with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical designs. • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure adherence to DevOps pipelines and ALM processes. • Provide technical leadership across project phases from design, development, SIT/UAT, deployment, and hypercare. • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing guidance on best practices, performance tuning, and solution quality. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, configuration guides, deployment steps, and support procedures. • Contribute to technical support activities such as production issue handling, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization. • Ensure solutions remain scalable, secure, and compliant with Microsoft’s recommended architecture patterns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 7–15 years of hands-on technical experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX / D365 Finance & Operations.
  • Strong expertise in X++, the D365 extension model, framework classes, and object-oriented development.
  • Proven experience in designing and building integrations using OData, REST APIs, custom services, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, or Power Platform.
  • Solid understanding of SQL, performance tuning, and troubleshooting tools.
  • Experience working with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards) and CI/CD practices.
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills with the ability to handle complex technical issues under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead development workstreams and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in the relevant industries.
  • A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience
  • Must have leadership role or experience
  • Development experience in years must be higher than technical support experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft certifications (MB-300, MB-500) are highly preferred.
  • Experience working in enterprise environments with multi-region deployments is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain complex technical topics to functional and business stakeholders.
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members.
  • Experience with ISV solutions, localization frameworks, or industry-specific customizations is a plus.
