About The Position

The ERP Applications Manager leads and coordinates functional and technical aspects of Garlock's ERP landscape and surrounding applications and is responsible for creating a strong connection between IT and the business. The role emphasizes safety, respect, and excellence, promoting the Enpro culture and the five principles of exemplary leadership. The manager is responsible for all technical and functional aspects of the ERP systems within Garlock, including Commercial Excellence, Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Logistics. They develop a strong process-oriented business analyst team, consult with management to determine information requirements, lead project prioritization, and implement controls to meet compliance requirements associated with Sarbanes Oxley. The manager proactively seeks feedback and anticipates future needs within the company, working with the IT team to develop plans to meet customer needs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or similar.
• Ability to connect with people and develop strong rapports.
• Passionate about developing people.
• Strong process thinker with good organization skills.
• Proven experience in navigating organizations.
• Independent, self-managed, and results-focused.
• Experience with multiple technology lifecycles; Agile experience a plus.
• Strong learning agility and comfort with high degree of ambiguity.
• Strong communication and influence skills.
• Strong ERP systems management experience in both technical and functional roles.
• 5+ years of managerial experience.
• Travel required 10%.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree is preferred.
• Experience with Sarbanes Oxley is a plus.
• ERP systems experience with IFS is a plus.
