About The Position

Responsible for planning and managing the daily operations for Epic Resolute HB/PB Resolute modules. This includes the development, maintenance, support and enhancement of multiple business applications. Lead the efforts of a team of Team Leads, Senior Applications Analysts and the Application Analysts. Collaborate with Boston Medical Center staff, vendors, ITS colleagues and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, access available applications and technologies, develop detailed specifications, and evaluate and recommend solution options. Act as oversight to daily on call support, tasks distribution and general support of the EHR Revenue Cycle Team applications. Assess system modifications and project viability and recommend solutions to meet user needs within vendor/application/technology limitations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
• At least 7 years of work experience in business application design, development, and installation.
• Significant healthcare background with demonstrated abilities in the applications arena.
• Minimum three years of leadership experience with project management, staff, and budgetary responsibilities.
• Strong software and application knowledge with base knowledge of relevant technologies and operating systems.
• Experience with the design, development, and implementation of new technical architectures.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work with multi-departmental teams.
• Strong project management skills from vision through implementation.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills.
• Ability to be part of a cross-departmental and cross-functional team.
• Demonstrated relationship management skills.
