The Electro-Optics (EO) Department, within the Hardware Organization, is currently searching for a Manager EO Integration Engineer for a Tactical EO Sensor/Seeker Integration & Test group. Responsibilities will be split between supporting EO program(s) as an engineer (~85%) and providing functional support to the section 'Sensor/Seeker Program Leads and REAs' (~15%). This position is located in Tucson, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the EO Department Manager and other Section Leaders to align department with company direction.
  • Support hiring (resume reviews, interviews, etc.)
  • Support and/or drive department initiatives and goals
  • Promote collaboration across functional and program boundaries
  • Balance staffing needs and align with section member growth
  • Model and Drive Raytheon Values and Behaviors
  • Support section member performance, career development, and growth throughout the year
  • Elicit and compile performance feedback to support Performance Development
  • Hold required formal Mid-Year and Year-End Performance Development (PD) discussions.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 8 years applicable engineering experience in progressing leadership.
  • Current or previous professional experience in leading a team of similar discipline, including performance discussions and career development.
  • Experience in electro-optic subsystems, EO integration, EO production support, or EO design.
  • Experience in mechanical or optical design and design documentation.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's or PhD in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Mechanical aptitude to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity
  • Experience with missile based EO products
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience in EO integration or design experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Business Acumen
  • Active DoD issued security clearance
