About The Position

Under the direction of the Corp Director of Env Health & Safety (EH&S), applies extensive knowledge of laws, rules and regulations, to include environmental compliance, life safety compliance, industrial hygiene, emergency management, construction safety, laser safety, ergonomics, data analysis and corrective action planning, to manage broad programs. Represents BHSF in external affairs related to EH&S regulations and accreditation. Oversees the work of direct reports, internal experts, and contracted vendors. Support the Corp EH&S Director and other EH&S staff members with assigned departmental efforts and initiatives. A wide degree of creativity is required. Position requires the ability to travel to multiple sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Fire Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, or Occupational Health & Safety.
• BCSP Certified Safety Professional.
• IBFCSM Certified Healthcare Safety Professional.
• AHA Certified Healthcare Facility Manager.
• IBFCSM Certified Healthcare Emergency Professional.
• Drivers License from Florida.
• ECRI Certified Healthcare Environmental Manager.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
• Ability to obtain additional certifications within 24 months upon hire.
