About The Position

The role involves leading and shaping Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) and sustainability initiatives, driving a proactive safety culture across operations. Working closely with leadership teams, you will develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs that protect people, environment, and communities while supporting business growth. This position also entails managing regulatory compliance, incident prevention, and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in progressive EHS experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or pharmaceutical environments
  • Comprehensive knowledge of EHS regulations, standards and best practices (OSHA, EPA, etc.)
  • Proven ability to develop and implement EHS management systems and programs
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and root cause analysis
  • Strong project management and budget oversight capabilities
  • Excellence in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
  • Demonstrated success in facilitating organizational change and continuous improvement
  • Proficiency with EHS software platforms and data analysis tools
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to build effective partnerships at all organizational levels
  • Travel required 10-20%

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Fields of Study: Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related technical field
  • Professional certifications desired (e.g., CSP, CIH, CHMM, HVK)
  • NEBOSH diploma or equivalent safety qualifications for international roles
  • Experience with ISO 14001 environmental management systems
  • Emergency response and business continuity planning expertise
