Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Environmental Sciences required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred
  • Environmental Compliance Experience 3-5 years required
  • Sustainability Experience 2-3 years required
  • Management Experience 1-2 years required
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and certifications.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with local, regional, and national environmental regulations and permits.
  • Develop and implement an environmental sustainability strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct environmental assessments and audits to identify potential environmental risks and develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Develop and update environmental policies and procedures to reflect best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and manage environmental performance metrics and reporting systems.
  • Develop and implement strategies to minimize the organization's environmental impact.
  • Develop and manage the environmental affairs budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for sustainability initiatives and projects.
