About The Position

The Manager, Enterprise Business Systems & Architecture leads the strategy, delivery, and ongoing optimization of the organization’s enterprise business systems and supporting architecture. This role combines business architecture leadership, enterprise application ownership, and people management, serving as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams. The manager ensures enterprise platforms, most notably Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related systems, are aligned to business objectives, securely operated, well‑governed, and continuously improved. This role provides architectural direction, oversees system delivery and support, enables user adoption, and develops a high‑performing enterprise systems team.

Requirements

  • 6–8+ years’ experience supporting and delivering enterprise business systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • 3+ years’ experience in a lead or manager role, overseeing technical or enterprise systems teams.
  • Strong background in enterprise application architecture, system integrations, and business process alignment.
  • Hands‑on experience with: Dynamics 365 CRM/XRM administration and customization SQL Server / T‑SQL C# / .NET–based solutions Reporting and analytics (e.g., Power BI, SSRS)
  • Experience partnering with business leaders and translating requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with operational execution.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft Dynamics certifications.
  • Experience with ERP (GP), SharePoint, Power Platform, or similar enterprise ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of accounting, finance, or operational business processes.
  • Experience supporting digital transformation or modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Enterprise Business Systems team, including performance management, workload prioritization, and skill development.
  • Establish clear team standards for system support, enhancements, documentation, testing, and change management.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex system issues, cross‑functional dependencies, and delivery risks.
  • Partner with IT leadership to plan resourcing, budget needs, and vendor/partner engagement.
  • Act as the primary owner of enterprise business systems architecture, ensuring alignment between business strategy, processes, data, and technology.
  • Collaborate closely with business leaders to understand current‑state processes, future‑state needs, and transformation priorities.
  • Translate business objectives into system roadmaps, architectural decisions, and prioritized initiatives.
  • Provide thought leadership on enterprise business architecture, digital transformation, and value realization from technology investments.
  • Guide process mapping, discovery, and capability assessments to identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of assigned enterprise applications, including Dynamics 365 CRM/XRM, ERP (GP), SharePoint/ECM, Power Platform, reporting, and related tools.
  • Serve as product owner for supported platforms, managing intake, prioritization, and delivery of enhancements and fixes.
  • Ensure systems are stable, secure, compliant, and aligned with enterprise standards.
  • Oversee major system upgrades, patches, and releases, ensuring proper testing, documentation, and go‑live readiness.
  • Provide architectural and technical oversight for system configuration, customization, integrations, and reporting.
  • Ensure quality execution of:  CRM configurations (workflows, validation rules, security roles, automation) Custom development (plugins, web resources, integrations) Data quality, reporting, and dashboards
  • Guide integration strategies across enterprise systems and ensure reliable data flow.
  • Review and approve solution designs, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with architecture standards.
  • Ensure effective user enablement through training materials, documentation, and adoption strategies.
  • Promote best practices in system usage, data quality, and process consistency.
  • Partner with stakeholders to manage change impacts and ensure successful adoption of new capabilities.
