The Manager, Engineering - Enterprise Electrical Systems, Cable and Patch Cords leads a team to deliver complex projects from start to finish with a high degree of autonomy. This role relies on strong communication skills to inspire and motivate the team, driving them to overcome challenges and achieve results. Working closely with product management, business development, human resources, and engineering peers, the manager shapes programs and fosters talent development. By combining growing strategic insight with deep technical expertise, the manager enhances team performance and contributes to overall financial success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering required.
  • 10+ years engineering experience
  • 5+ years experience managing teams.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and presentation skills from individual contributor to director level audiences.
  • Datacenter and enterprise knowledge preferred, including experience with structure cabling.
  • 10% travel both domestic and international.

Responsibilities

  • Drive Project Success: Lead department initiatives to design new products, refine existing designs, and improve processes.
  • Oversee critical projects, applying expertise to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to shape product roadmaps, standards, and policies.
  • Optimize Group Performance : Monitor and report key performance metrics.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to elevate results.
  • Employee Experience & Development : Champion initiatives that strengthen culture, collaboration, and engagement.
  • Direct recruitment, hiring, development, performance management, and compensation decisions.

  • Compensation : The expected annual base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $155,000.
