About The Position

CoreWeave is seeking a Manager, Energy & Power Transaction Management to lead on transaction oversight, operational execution, and lifecycle management for CoreWeave’s power and energy procurement activities. This role is critical to ensuring that complex energy transactions — from contract execution through ongoing performance — are implemented accurately, governed effectively, and scalable as CoreWeave continues to grow. This position sits between front-office deal execution and back-office settlement and accounting, partnering closely with Energy Markets, Legal, Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Data Center Operations, and external counterparties. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in powerenergy transactions,exceptional attention to detail, strong process discipline, and the ability to build structure in a fast-growing environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in energy transaction management, middle office operations, power procurement, project finance operations, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of power and energy contracts, including ESAs, CSAs, PPAs, and utility agreements.
  • Proven experience managing complex, long-term infrastructure or energy transactions post-execution.
  • Strong process orientation with experience building controls and scalable workflows.
  • Ability to operate independently and drive cross-functional alignment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial impacts of energy transactions, including mark-to-market valuations, accruals, and cash flow implications.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting data center, hyperscale, or large industrial energy procurement.
  • Familiarity with energy market operations (ISOs/RTOs), settlement processes, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Exposure to risk management, credit, or collateral processes in energy markets.
  • Experience implementing transaction management systems or contract lifecycle management tools.
  • Experience with Python, VBA, SQL, or similar tools for data manipulation and process automation.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage energy transaction and data platforms, ensuring accurate data flows, user adoption, and integration with internal finance, procurement, and reporting systems as needed.
  • Own the end-to-end transaction management of energy and power procurement agreements following commercial execution.
  • Serve as the primary internal point of coordination to transition deals from execution into implementation and operations.
  • Ensure contractual terms are accurately reflected in internal systems, models, and operational workflows.
  • Develop and maintain transaction reporting, portfolio dashboards, and management summaries to provide visibility into energy procurement status, costs, and risk positions.
  • Assist with origination and negotiation of new transactions, leveraging operational and settlement expertise to inform deal structuring, identify downstream implementation risks, and ensure commercial terms are operationally executable.
  • Manage ongoing administration of energy contracts, including ISDAs, EEIs, ESAs, CSAs, PPAs, tolling agreements, and utility service agreements.
  • Track key commercial terms such as pricing, volumes, capacity commitments, escalation, milestones, and termination provisions.
  • Calculate, verify, and reconcile physical and financial trade settlements, ensuring accuracy of volumes, pricing, and contractual terms.
  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations and coordinate issue resolution with internal teams and counterparties.
  • Design and implement middle office controls, documentation standards, and approval workflows for energy transactions.
  • Develop repeatable processes to support scale, risk management, and audit readiness.
  • Partner with Legal, Accounting, and Finance to ensure alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze trade data to track risk exposures, identify discrepancies, and escalate potential issues to risk management in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with Treasury, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Legal, Data Center Operations, and Construction & Design.
  • Translate commercial contract terms into operational, financial, and accounting implications.
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow planning related to energy procurement.
  • Interface with utilities, IPP, trading counterparties, and third-party service providers on contract execution, amendments, and operational matters.
  • Coordinate post-signing activities including notices, milestone tracking, and ongoing performance management.
