We are Optimum!Job SummaryThe Endpoint Engineering Manager leads a team of engineers responsible for the design, implementation, and third level support for enterprise systems management tools including Microsoft Intune, Systems Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Jamf Pro, and other management tools for end user devices including user workstations (both Windows and macOS) and mobile devices (iOS/iPadOS/Android). The Endpoint Engineering Manager serves as the technical owner for services that manage device setup, system policy and control, app packaging and distribution, security updates, and remote support for various devices such as laptops, desktops, virtual desktops, mobile devices, printers, and IoT devices. The Manager has a strong focus towards modernizing and protecting endpoints and enhancing the end user computing experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years managing IT systems engineering teams
  • In depth knowledge of end user computing technologies, best practices, and industry trends
  • Extensive experience balancing priorities and projects in rapidly changing environment
  • Proven ability to lead major enterprise efforts in coordination with IT, security, business and customer facing teams
  • Experience working within IT service management and development frameworks including ITIL and Agile

Responsibilities

  • Effective management of staff in multiple geographic locations; development, coaching, hiring, assessment
  • Define and execute vision and technology roadmap with achievable and measurable goals
  • Champion end user computing experience and work across cross functional teams to resolve issues impacting user productivity
  • Strong focus on security best practices and urgency towards vulnerability remediation
  • Oversee measures to ensure services and systems are compliant with required regulatory and compliance frameworks
  • Manage projects within committed timeframe and budget
  • Provide reporting and metrics for services, projects and other deliveries
