Position Summary The Manager, EMS Simulation & Training Center provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the hospital’s EMS focused simulation and training Center. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of simulation based educational programs serving local and county fire departments, EMS agencies, and hospital personnel. This position oversees daily operations of the EMS Simulation & Training Center, including high fidelity mannequins, immersive simulation environments, and ambulance simulation platforms. The Manager supervises the EMS Liaisons and ensures structured, scalable educational programs that strengthens regional EMS capability, readiness, and engagement. This role works collaboratively with the EMS Coordinator and the Director of Security and Emergency Preparedness but does not assume regulatory compliance or ED clinical integration responsibilities currently assigned to those roles. In addition, this position coordinates utilization of the EMS Simulation & Training Center for hospital-based education in collaboration with nursing education, clinical leadership, and other departments. While not directly responsible for hospital curriculum oversight, the Manager ensures effective scheduling, operational support, and integration of simulation resources to meet organizational training needs and optimize center utilization.
