About The Position

The Manager of Employee Health plays a crucial role in leading the Workers Compensation and Occupational Health functions within our organization. This position is responsible for the effective management of the Workers Compensation Program, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. The Manager will work closely with Occupational Health, infection control, and human resources staff to develop and implement policies and procedures that enhance employee health programs. This role requires a proactive approach to establishing, monitoring, and achieving metrics for HR programs, ensuring that our employee health initiatives are both effective and compliant with industry standards. The Manager will serve as a functional expert in the field, leveraging their extensive experience in employee health and safety to guide the team and drive improvements. This includes overseeing the management of workers' compensation claims, ensuring that all processes are handled efficiently and in accordance with legal requirements. The role also involves collaboration with various departments to foster a culture of health and safety within the organization, promoting best practices and continuous improvement in employee health management. In addition to the technical aspects of the role, the Manager of Employee Health will be expected to demonstrate strong leadership skills, mentoring and guiding team members to achieve their professional goals.
