About The Position

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Manager for Emergency Services at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. This role involves providing nursing leadership under the guidance of the Director of Emergency Services and the Chief Nursing Officer. The Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care through oversight of daily functions and staffing of the unit. The position requires monitoring and evaluating nursing care in accordance with established policies and holding staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes.

Requirements

  • Graduate of Professional School of Nursing; BSN preferred or actively pursuing with a 2-year completion within date of hire.
  • Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license.
  • Required within 90-days: ACLS, TNCC, NIH Stroke Scale, ENPC or PALS.
  • Three years current nursing experience in the designated clinical area required.
  • One year management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing leadership under the guidance of the Director of Emergency Services and the Chief Nursing Officer.
  • Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care through oversight of daily functions and staffing of the unit.
  • Monitor and evaluate the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Hold staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.
