As the Manager, Electrical Systems R&D and Architecture, you will guide the strategy and day-to-day execution of LECO’s Electrical Engineering team supporting multiple product lines. You will collaborate with product leaders and peer managers to prioritize work, allocate resources, and ensure high-quality delivery for concurrent development efforts. This position reports to the Vice-President, Research & Development. On-site in St. Joseph, MI Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. You start the morning aligning priorities for a team of up to 10 electrical engineers. You assess capacity, assign resources to several active programs, and remove roadblocks. Midday brings a cross-functional review to refine system architecture that spans mechanical, firmware, and software disciplines. In the afternoon, you meet with team members for coaching and performance discussions, review procedures and product plans, and close the day by ensuring quality standards and timelines are on track across every project.
