The Manager of Electric Distribution, Transmission and Substation GIS is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing the integration, performance, and enhancement of Electric GIS supporting both Distribution, Transmission and Substations. This role combines deep technical expertise with cross-functional leadership to ensure continuity, innovation, and operational excellence across both functional areas. The manager will lead a team and will serve as a key liaison from the Elevate Program to the Electric Functional Area at PG&E. The manager will also be responsible for effectively partnering with the Propel Program. Oversees the governance, management, and delivery of PG&E’s Electric Distribution, Transmission and Substation GIS and data. Directs teams in a collaborative environment responsible for data governance, ownership, management, and stewardship, ensuring consistent standards, quality assurance, and alignment with the businesses asset management objectives. Provides leadership in defining and enforcing governance policies, overseeing Power Generation and IT Telecom GIS data work, and coordinating subject matter expert (SME) contributions across specialized domains. Accountable for aligning operational processes with organizational priorities, reducing duplication of effort, minimizing risk, and strengthening PG&E’s ability to leverage geospatial data for reporting, analytics, decision-making and to deliver transformational opportunities within each applicable functional area. This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and Oakland office approximately 2 - 3 days per week, or more, based on business needs. PG&E is providing the full salary range for this position. The actual salary paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, internal equity, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, and geographic location. The reasonable range to expect will be around the minimum to the midpoint of the range. The final decision will be made on a case-by-case basis related to the factors above. This job is also eligible to participate in PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.
