About The Position

The Manager of eCommerce Strategy at Otter Products is responsible for leading a team focused on optimizing the brand's direct-to-consumer website. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance the online consumer journey, executing strategic plans, and utilizing digital marketing tactics to drive revenue and customer satisfaction. The position also includes mentoring team members and ensuring adherence to established processes and policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred in Marketing, Business, Website Design or related field.
  • Minimum of six years of experience in marketing, merchandising, web development, and/or digital marketing.
  • Previous experience in a mentor, supervisor, lead, or manager role is required.
  • Advanced skills in an eCommerce platform are required, Salesforce Commerce Cloud preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Drive achievement of Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) revenue goals and oversee optimization of customer experience metrics.
  • Align strategic priorities across Brand Marketing, Customer Service, IT, Sales, Operations, and Product teams to support overarching eCommerce objectives.
  • Lead the development and implementation of eCommerce solutions that enhance online transactions and support a cohesive digital strategy.
  • Utilize segmentation data to inform strategies that effectively engage key customer groups.
  • Analyze insights and website analytics to guide data-driven decisions that support business objectives.
  • Collaborate on the website content strategy and online marketing initiatives to ensure alignment with overall goals.
  • Ensure brand consistency and alignment across all digital content and messaging.
  • Identify and recommend site optimization initiatives aimed at improving key performance indicators, including traffic, conversion rates, and customer engagement.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of templates, tools, and processes to enhance team efficiency.
  • Advocate for the value of eCommerce as a critical channel for sales growth and brand development throughout the organization.
  • Support initiatives for expansion into new product categories, customer segments, and international markets.
  • Support and maintain a positive safety culture by being an active leader in all safety program initiatives.
