About The Position

The District Sales Manager of FSOP (Food Service On Premise) is responsible for the execution and promotional efforts within the FSOP accounts in an assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year of work experience required, or a minimum of five years of progressive job experience including people, project, or account management with leadership and influencing skills required.
  • Prior experience in retail or direct-store-delivery (DSD) sales including contract terms and negotiations required.
  • Effectively communicates & builds relationships at all organizational levels; ability to both present ideas and influence decisions at leadership level.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams.
  • This position requires you to use your personal vehicle during work hours with reimbursement. Proof of insurance covering business use is required at time of hire.
  • Valid Driver's License, current vehicle liability insurance, driving record within policy guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in Consumer-Packaged Goods industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Trains, develops, and motivates a team of on-premise sales professionals. Sets clear performance expectations and provides regular feedback and coaching.
  • Meets or exceeds gross profit and volume goals. Understands profit and loss (P&L) and manages budgets accordingly.
  • Responsible for communicating cross-functionally with internally and externally to ensure satisfaction and the continuation of successful partnerships with the customer.
  • Completes and/or reviews the Economic Analysis (EA) tool for proposed contractual customers. Manages the execution of contractual agreements with customers.
  • Ensures profitable placements for the company’s capital assets placed in customer account locations. Manages adherence to CMAs.
  • Analyzes market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
