About The Position

The Distribution Center Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall planning, organizing, and operations of our distribution center and warehouses in Pennsylvania. This role includes managing all distribution functions such as order processing, picking, packaging, shipping, cycle counting, and receiving.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management
• Extensive knowledge of distribution center functions and processes
• SAP S4 Hana, EWM

Responsibilities

• Responsible to revisit and develop the warehousing strategy for the operating units in Pennsylvania
• Partner with the operating units by establishing service level agreements and defining processes to ensure on time delivery of materials from the warehouse to the factories
• Use modern processes to manage inventory. Establish and execute a cycle count program to ensure high levels of inventory accuracy
• Balance workloads to achieve production and delivery goals for each shift
• Utilize software, data, and analytics to optimize operations, track warehouse metrics, and resolve problems
• Provide necessary equipment, tools, and training to staff to ensure safe, secure, and efficient operations
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulations, policies, safety procedures, and documentation requirements
