The individual in this role manages a team responsible for the continual evolution of distribution operations and implementation of a best in class strategic roadmap. Supports cross-functional initiatives that improve the effectiveness, drive process improvements, and efficiency of the distribution organization.

Requirements

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 8 years related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work strategically with IT to deliver innovative tools that enhance the distribution network's capabilities.
  • Provides project management and leadership for significant operational projects, such as facility constructions and systems implementations.
  • Implements and maintains KPI’s and regular cadence of review and/or dashboards.
  • Defines distribution organizational structure and create robust headcount planning tools.
  • Develops and implements reporting and training tools to maximize effectiveness.
  • Coaches and mentors new leaders and key talent.
  • Leads the development of industry specific knowledge and skills of team members.
  • Collaborates with HR Business Partners in managing proper organizational and talent planning in line with the defined strategy and unique needs of the business units.
