The Manager, Digital Experience Engineering & Delivery, leads the delivery of digital experience work across Hach’s global digital platforms. This role manages the Digital Experience team, including frontend engineers and UI/UX professionals, and is responsible for building a high-performing team that delivers reliable, high-quality digital experiences. The Manager collaborates with regional and global marketing stakeholders, the Marketing Technology team, and engineering counterparts to inform digital roadmap priorities using user experience best practices, stakeholder insights, and performance data. Working closely with the Digital Experience Product Manager, who handles sprint execution and backlog readiness, the Manager focuses on team operations and workflow, ensuring strong agile rigor, clear capacity planning, and disciplined delivery practices. As a people leader and player-coach, the Manager supports team development, establishes delivery standards, and partners with engineering teams to consistently apply agile methodologies, ensuring work is well-sequenced, technically sound, and executed with quality to enable scalable, sustainable digital experiences that support Hach’s business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, UX, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in digital experience (UX/UI), frontend engineering, or digital platform delivery
  • 3+ years of people leadership or project leadership experience using Agile delivery methodologies
  • Strong hands-on frontend engineering background
  • Experience in headless CMS, with version control and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, and other Javascript libraries)
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Working in a global environment, flexible schedule will be required

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop frontend engineers and UI/UX designers (employees + contractors)
  • Coach early-to-mid level engineers with hands-on guidance, feedback, and career development
  • Serve as a technical escalation point and player-coach on critical frontend initiatives
  • Establish and standardize frontend engineering patterns, standards, and best practices to improve quality and maintainability
  • Own agile delivery practices for Digital Experience: sprint planning, capacity management, delivery cadence, and continuous improvement
  • Act as the delivery authority for sprint/release commitments—ensuring realistic timelines and high-quality outcomes
  • Partner with the Product Manager to translate priorities into executable plans
  • Coach on agile best practices: backlog readiness, story sizing, and incremental delivery planning
  • Build and implement KPIs, standard work documentation, and process improvements that increase transparency and predictability
  • Incorporate customer and associate feedback to continuously improve experience quality
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs early—and partner with stakeholders on mitigation
  • Provide engineering scoping and LOE validation to inform prioritization decisions
  • Ensure commitments align with capacity, technical constraints, and platform health
