Your Role: Coordinates the design process for renovation and construction projects at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH). Oversees and manages construction and/or remodeling projects for TMH properties. Ensures compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations. Works with Plant Engineering (PE, department 8060) and the skilled trades to request and maintain permits, Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM), and Infection Control Risk Assessments (ICRA). Assists with finances (including soliciting bids and reviewing invoices). Coordinates owner-direct purchasing. Ensures standards are maintained. Serves as a system administrator for building plans (including the workflow associated with issuing and tracking plans under revision).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field. Human Resources (HR) may substitute applicable, relevant job experience on a 1-year:1-year basis for the required education, in addition to the minimum required experience below.
- Five (5) years of design, construction, and/or maintenance experience.
