As our Manager, Design Brand Management, you’ll play a key leadership role in shaping design excellence across our portfolio while guiding a talented team. Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in architecture or interior design (commercial, industrial, or institutional).
  • Supervisory or management-level experience required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field — or equivalent experience.
  • Strong financial and budgeting acumen.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Operational leadership skills with the ability to translate strategy into execution.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to meeting technical standards.
  • Solid industry and competitive knowledge.
  • Confident communicator who can influence and align stakeholders.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making grounded in experience and analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel Property Improvement Plan experience preferred.
  • NCIDQ certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Champion Brand & Design Excellence Lead and implement design programs and initiatives that advance member development objectives. Protect and elevate brand standards through thoughtful oversight and execution. Develop and refine programs and projects that align with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Lead & Empower the Team Provide technical and operational leadership to Design Project Managers and FF&E Reviewers. Assess team strengths and opportunities, delivering meaningful coaching and development. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and purpose. Implement effective hiring and retention strategies to grow a strong, engaged team.
  • Influence & Collaborate Foster trusted relationships with members, senior leadership, and advisory boards. Prepare and present monthly Board materials related to Member Design matters. Influence adoption of new initiatives, standards, and operational improvements across the organization.
  • Drive Operational & Financial Performance Contribute to annual budgeting efforts and support financial objectives. Maintain quality service by establishing and upholding company standards. Identify and resolve both visible and underlying challenges. Partner with external vendors as needed, including contract negotiations.
