The Demand Planning Manager will play a critical role in driving the accuracy, visibility, and strategic value of our demand forecasts. This role leads the forecasting process across brands and channels, ensuring alignment between commercial, financial, and supply chain objectives. Managing a Demand Planner, you will set priorities, coach for excellence, and elevate how we use data to inform decisions. This is a highly collaborative role that partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to deliver demand insights that optimize inventory, support innovation, and enable growth. The ideal candidate is both an analytical expert and a strong communicator who can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leaders across the organization.

  • Own the monthly demand forecasting process (Core, Promotions, New Launches), ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Leverage Slimstock and IBP to build robust forecasts, incorporating sales trends, promotions, events, and market dynamics.
  • Continuously optimize system inputs and parameters to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide forward-looking insights on risks, opportunities, and scenarios to guide leadership decision-making.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to align demand plans with financial targets, promotional calendars, and brand strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Supply & Inventory Planning team to provide visibility into demand drivers, highlight forecast changes, and support decision-making on inventory actions.
  • Lead monthly consensus and alignment meetings, turning data into insights that influence strategy and execution.
  • Define best practices and standards for demand planning, driving accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the voice of the team in cross-functional forums, ensuring demand planning insights and priorities are well-represented and understood by senior leaders and Supply Chain partners.
  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and development opportunities for direct report, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, or related field preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or analytics (beauty or CPG preferred). 2+ years of leadership experience.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; strong command of data analysis and visualization.
  • Experience with enterprise forecasting and BI tools such as Slimstock, SAP IBP, Cognos, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to balance detail orientation with big-picture thinking.
  • IBF or APICS certification is a plus.
