About The Position

The Demand Generation Manager will play a pivotal role in driving Sunbelt Rentals’ growth by leading strategic marketing initiatives across the entire customer journey—from acquisition to retention. This role is responsible for developing and executing omnichannel demand generation strategies that attract new customers, deepen relationships with existing ones, and accelerate revenue growth. The ideal candidate will leverage data-driven insights, collaborate cross-functionally, and optimize marketing efforts to maximize customer lifetime value and deal velocity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and training.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in demand generation, lifecycle marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive measurable growth across acquisition and retention.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and align marketing efforts with organizational priorities.
  • Deep understanding of the competitive landscape and market dynamics.
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and collaborating with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with analytics, marketing technology, and subject matter experts to define and refine customer segments and subsegments using demographic, firmographic, behavioral, and predictive data.
  • Design and execute targeted marketing programs for both new customer acquisition and existing customer retention, focusing on increasing share of wallet, reducing churn, and accelerating conversion.
  • Create and optimize engaging content tailored to customer segments, lifecycle stages, and behavioral triggers. Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all channels and touchpoints.
  • Utilize a mix of digital and traditional channels—including email, SMS/MMS, social media, web, events, and paid media—to drive pipeline growth, eCommerce conversions, and account expansion.
  • Partner with sales, eCommerce, fleet management, creative teams, and analytics to align marketing strategies with business goals and ensure seamless execution.
  • Oversee day-to-day campaign coordination including planning, asset development, quality assurance, approvals, and scheduling.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign effectiveness using key performance indicators (KPIs). Provide actionable insights to optimize future strategies and improve ROI.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of marketing tools, templates, and processes to enable scalable and repeatable outreach across the customer lifecycle.
