About The Position

Ibotta is looking for a Manager, Decision Science - Client Analytics to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This role will lead a team of decision scientists and deliver solutions to drive value for our Client Analytics and Revenue teams. The ideal candidate will partner closely with the measurement, product & other analytics teams to deliver on internal and external client requests. In addition, this candidate will have knowledge leveraging big data for building innovative analytical capabilities and be an experienced, collaborative and inspiring leader with a track record of attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining world-class talent. This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical function, preferably in CPG/FMCG, with experience working directly with leadership
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Quantitative Discipline; Analytics, or a related field required
  • Experience hiring, leading, developing, and retaining talent
  • Demonstrated analytical ability, conceptual thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to distill complex analytical solutions into actionable insights
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the proven ability to collaborate across functional areas
  • Curiosity and the commitment to continually ask questions of our data and business
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment with the capability to prioritize effectively
  • Experience using modern data analysis tools (SQL, Python, R, etc.) and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, Mode)
  • Experience working in performance marketing and speaking clients directly about methodology and outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Work daily with cross functional leadership to understand client needs and prioritize the most valuable opportunities to drive revenue
  • Proactively identify opportunities for campaign optimization providing clear, data-driven recommendations
  • Confidently speak with internal and external stakeholders about key campaign metrics and deliverables
  • Regularly communicate with external clients to help them understand deliverable methodologies, guiding how results can be best leveraged in their organization and for future campaigns
  • Manage day-to-day development & delivery of all Client Analytics & Revenue requests
  • Strategize, in collaboration with internal partners, to provide valuable innovative and advanced analytics deliverables to external stakeholders
  • Establish automated processes to scale the business
  • Research industry trends and standards to stay abreast of new developments and proactively suggest areas of improvement
