Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma/G.E.D. required.
  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience.
  • 5+ years of related experience in a distribution environment; 3+ years of people management/people leadership experience.
  • Proven leadership skills with a willingness to lead by example.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have English proficiency (speaking and understanding).
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit and a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong math and analytical skills.
  • Experience utilizing various types of warehouse equipment and a strong knowledge of Safety requirements.
  • Strong experience using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to be consistent when entering information repetitiously.
  • Able to lift and move up to 35 lbs.
  • Able to actively walk the warehouse floor; and stand for extended periods up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

  • Lead planning and execution of departmental operations in a multi-channel environment to ensure cost and service goals are met.
  • Monitor supply/demand forecasts and other key performance indicators to ensure adequate warehouse staffing and departmental capacities.
  • Partner with cross-functional partners to implement initiatives and department goals in support of corporate strategies and priorities.
  • Lead and contribute to effective problem-solving as operational challenges arise using practical solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to Company Policies and Standard Operating Procedures including 5S and safety.
  • Monitor performance levels and quality standards utilizing observations and available KPIs.
  • Work closely with Customer and Client Services to ensure customer inquiries are resolved quickly.
  • Challenge the status quo and identify and action on opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on operational metrics, challenges, and strategies for improvement.
  • Leverage understanding of the end-to-end fulfillment process to effectively coordinate across departments and shifts.
