At Nestlé USA (NUSA), we are seeking a dynamic Data Product Manager who will play a pivotal role in shaping our Data Management strategy across key business functions. In this exciting position, you will spearhead the creation of a comprehensive data product roadmap that empowers critical areas such as marketing, sales, and supply chain, while supporting innovative advanced analytics initiatives. As a vital collaborator, you will work hand-in-hand with various Nestlé business functions to enhance data utilization and identify new data acquisition opportunities that generate substantial value. Your expertise will be essential in partnering with business data stewards and advanced analytics teams to ensure that our data is not only accurate and secure but also readily available for insightful analysis. Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Business or a similar field.
  • 8+ years of experience in data mapping, data usage, and data acquisition to deliver large data integration/warehouse projects.
  • 3+ years of experience in technical product ownership or product roadmapping.

Responsibilities

  • Execute the data strategy and drive the data product roadmap for advanced analytic modeling and descriptive analytics for business reporting and decision making.
  • Lead engagement with functional business leaders and cross-functional teams to develop business cases and identify data requirements for key functional use cases.
  • Implement data in the data lake that is protected, accurate and available.
  • Leverage existing knowledge and deep understanding of the business to guide the team to implement data products that enables Nestle USA to become a data driven enterprise.
  • Lead a NUSA Data Product team of data architects, data engineers, and project managers in collaboration with IT and business stewards to deliver reliable data that is made available to the enterprise based on security and access guidelines.
  • Implement Nestle USA's data governance and stewardship framework to ensure data in the data lake meets all data management standards and compliance requirements.
  • Lead effort to curate and catalog data loaded in the data lake. Provide clarity on data lineage from sources and owners of data, and usage of data across functions, customers, and systems.
  • Implement Data Quality framework to ensure data meets the highest standards to provide accurate and trusted data for analytic consumption. Partner with functional data steward to ensure continuous monitoring and maintenance to guarantee that data quality issues are sequenced, analyzed, and remediated.
  • Partner with IT to support the data warehouse on Azure and ensure data acquisition and usage is in alignment with the architectural best practices.
