About The Position

As a Manager within the WI Internal Analytics, Insights and Reporting team this person will be focused on bringing deep analytical expertise to support internal initiatives & projects. These initiatives will drive improvement and efficiencies for Fidelity Workplace Investing (WI) across a diverse array of solutions and approaches. You will partner to build cross-functional relationships with business and analytics colleagues. This is an opportunity to provide your insights and enable Workplace Investments to make the data-driven decisions required to meet their strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or equivalent with 5+ years of experience.
  • In depth knowledge in a variety of analytics techniques including profiling, data mining, modeling, statistical analysis, network and journey mapping, and campaign measurement.
  • Experience working with data environments and strong knowledge of SQL to create, manipulate and transform large datasets.
  • Working experience with Adobe Analytics or equivalent platforms like Google Analytics.
  • Working experience with Tableau or equivalent data visualization tools.
  • Experience in interacting with cross functional partners within the organization and crafting presentations that convey the data narrative.
  • You have a passion for leveraging data to drive better business decision-making through statistical, econometric modeling, and machine learning techniques.
  • You have a deep understanding of analytical techniques and how they can be applied to address particular problem characteristics.
  • You have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in the areas of strategy development, business analysis, risks, and opportunity assessment.
  • You have a working knowledge of analytic technology software, platforms, and languages (e.g. SQL, R, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics, etc.)
  • You know how to acquire data from multiple sources/environments and transform it so it can be used for analytics.
  • You have experience conducting advanced cross-channel analytics to provide a holistic view of customer engagement across digital and offline touchpoints
  • You know how to design and implement models to accurately assess the impact of marketing efforts across channels.
  • You understand how to map and analyze end-to-end customer journeys to uncover opportunities for optimization and improved user experience
  • You understand how to leverage qualitative data to identify opportunity areas.
  • You have the ability to think on your feet and respond effectively when priorities change.
  • You strive to better communicate data through data visualization and storytelling.

Nice To Haves

  • Financial industry experience, a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of statistical and Machine Learning methods and approaches, a plus
  • Proficiency in Python or R, a plus

  • Serve as Manager for analytics & insights work on the various improvement initiatives that cut across our Workplace (WI) business units.
  • Play a key role in our overall transformation to a platform-enabled and capability-led Digital Future to benefit our clients & participants.
  • Drive leading class analytics, experimentation, insight generation--harnessing our underlying platforms that collect and deliver millions of interactions and transactions across our digital channels.
  • Developing and delivering analytical data and insights to solve business problems.
  • Enable partner stakeholders to make objective, informed decisions.
  • Provide opportunities for innovation through analytics capabilities and implementation of new technologies.
