About The Position

The Manager, Cybersecurity is responsible for enabling and accelerating automation workflows across Royal Caribbean Group, with a primary focus on security, attack surface management, and adjacent business functions. This role leads the design, development, and governance of an enterprise agentic workflow platform, ensuring robust guardrails, security controls, and architectural standards. The Manager oversees highly technical subject matter experts and serves as a trusted advisor to business and technology leaders on automation and AI strategy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a similar technical discipline required.
  • 10+ years of experience in information technology.
  • 4+ years of experience in information security, attack surface management, security engineering, or related technical roles.
  • Proven experience integrating automation and AI into enterprise environments in a secure and scalable manner.
  • Experience leading or influencing highly technical teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong technical knowledge in information technology, including hardware, networking, architecture, protocols, file systems, and operating systems.
  • Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs), agentic AI concepts, automation orchestration, and frameworks used to assist agentic development.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform independent analysis of complex problems and break them down into components suitable for automation.
  • Ability to communicate complex and highly technical concepts to diverse audiences, including technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities, with a demonstrated ability to evaluate trade-offs, costs, benefits, and organizational impact.
  • Ability to lead and mentor highly technical subject matter experts.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and able to align activities to meet organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Partners with security, IT, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation of tasks, workflows, and operational processes, emphasizing attack surface management and security operations.
  • Designs, builds, and manages automation solutions leveraging scripting, orchestration platforms, APIs, and AI/LLM-based capabilities.
  • Leads the integration of AI and agentic AI into workflows, enabling intelligent decision-making, autonomous task execution, and scalable process optimization.
  • Establishes and manages an enterprise agentic workflow platform that can be safely leveraged by other business areas to build applications, workflows, and processes.
  • Defines and enforces guardrails, governance models, security controls, and architectural standards for AI- and automation-driven solutions.
  • Translates complex business and technical problems into discrete, automatable components and guides teams through implementation.
  • Leads and mentors highly technical SMEs, providing architectural direction, technical oversight, and career development.
  • Collaborates with cybersecurity, legal, compliance, and risk teams to ensure AI and automation solutions align with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Tracks and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to automation adoption, efficiency gains, risk reduction, and operational impact.
  • Stays current with emerging trends in LLMs, agentic AI, automation frameworks, and orchestration technologies, and assesses applicability to the organization.
  • Acts as an escalation point for complex technical, architectural, or governance challenges related to automation and AI workflows.
