About The Position

PayPal, Inc. seeks Manager, Cybersecurity Engineering in San Jose, CA. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage members of Cryptography Engineering team and communicate team priorities and organizational goals.
  • Design and architect cryptography solutions and derive epics, stories, and tasks and monitor timely deliverables.
  • Review code developed by engineers for accuracy, efficiency, testability and provide feedback.
  • Provide security consultation to debug/analyze issues related to digital certificates and key management.
  • Convene with members of team on regular basis to mentor on performance, growth opportunities, and share feedback.
  • Create roadmaps based on requirement goals, infrastructure modifications, and automation of repeatable tasks.
  • Provide evidence of security measures to internal and external auditors to maintain compliance.
  • Collect and share risk and compliance-related analytical metrics and reports with leadership team.
  • Create Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) process, perform review of DR and BCP tests results and add/modify any required controls.
  • Analyze product requirements, create security test plans, and perform code review.
  • Identify and renew cryptographic keys before expiry date, to be compliant.
  • Ensure adherence to transaction-related compliance requirements.
  • Create risk-based security (static and dynamic) code reviews.
  • Conduct penetration testing in line with Open Web Application Security project.
