This position is responsible for selling retail prepared products increasing market share and maintaining good customer relations for the Kroger account. This region is responsible for diverse responsibilities at Kroger, with the chief responsibility on selling in and optimizing the merchandising plan at Kroger. This role wires to the Kroger Sales Planning Coordinators at Kroger, but also will communicate and meet directly with division level merchandising to amplify promotions downstream in the selling process, requiring the CDM to develop and maintain multiple relationships across Kroger’s geography requiring travel to Kroger markets. Additionally, this individual will directly own all sales activities for the Deli department and potential other products. Category responsibilities include but not limited to fresh prepared meals hot deli cold deli deli lunchmeat service case and home meal replacement. This position will lead broker relations with the team with Empire and Acosta, supporting the retail execution of the sales plan, communicating goals and objectives for the broker retail team, and aligning/scorecarding of objectives for our broker partners. This position will work in close collaboration with many internal business units to achieve AOP sales goals and profitability metrics. Other responsibilities include ensuring the Customer along with our Broker partners know Tyson product features benefits and value-added qualities establishing a service and response level to the Customer that exceeds the industry standard and handling Customer questions and complaints on a variety of issues and ensuring problems are solved in a timely manner. Other duties include effectively leveraging/managing trade fund investments, conducting retail store audits, i and performing other responsibilities as the need arises.
