This position is responsible for selling prepared deli products, building and maintaining good customer relationships and increasing market share for Tyson deli items. This is an established area of the US to include: Rocky Mountain, Pacific Northwest, West Coast & Southwest. This region is responsible for the headquarters call at Sprout’s, Albertson’s, Stater Brothers, Save Mart, and other retailers in the Western Region. This role requires you to navigate the customer network including Vice Presidents, category managers, sales managers and buyers who oversee all facets of the deli category. The objective is to achieve maximum volume potential and profitability while upholding Tyson’s commitment to providing high quality products and excellent customer service. Category responsibilities include, but not limited to prepared meals, hot deli, cold deli, deli lunchmeat case, grab and go lunchmeat and home meal replacement. This position requires conducting product pricing and promotional programs directly with our customers. Work in close collaboration with our marketing team, multiple business units, revenue management and others to achieve AOP sales goals and profitability metrics. Working with the team you will manage marketing accruals and co-op funds. Overseeing the Broker network, with key performance measures and proactive plans and objectives, is a core function of this role. Additionally, you will lead Deli Sales meetings with brokers to provide strategic directions to our broker managers, aligning them with the goals and priorities of Tyson Deli Prepared. You will ensure that both customers and broker partners clearly understand the features, benefits, and added value of Tyson products. You’ll also establish a service and response standard that exceeds industry expectations, while promptly addressing customer questions and resolving issues. Above all, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction will be your top priority.
