Role Summary/Purpose: Manager , Cross Platform Strategy Analytics (individual contributor) role is a part of India Analytics Hub (IAH). Our Analytics team comprises of data analysts who focus on improving customer/product/digital/ journey experience etc. and growth by providing full stack descriptive to prescriptive analytics via cutting edge technologies to support business objectives. The role requires the candidate to provide measurement, diagnostics and insights across all Synchrony products .The candidate must establish understanding of business requirements , ask right questions , has ‘Go Getter Attitude’, work with data to generate actionable insights thus enabling Synchrony’s growth and profitability. This position is remote, where you have the option to work from home. Key Responsibilities: Work with team on variety of problems by leveraging experience in Data and Analytical Tools Able to assist on Cross platform initiatives and helps build scalable solutions across platforms Partner on strategic ideas and POCs targeting revenue growth & larger business adoption Adherence to timely delivery, accuracy and documentation in line with Audit Procedures Mentor/ Guide team members on tools and processes Required Skills/Knowledge: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Experience in SQL or SAS or Tableau or Open-Source Tools with ability to independently build queries for data extraction & aggregation Comprehend key concepts & processes in Retail Finance on Drivers of Revenue and profitability , translate them into quantitative attributes/metrics. Good verbal and written communication skills to clearly express ideas, ask questions, and document work. Problem-solving mindset with curiosity to explore data and uncover insights. Ability to Define Methodology, present insights to larger teams. Desired Skills/Knowledge: 2+ years of analytics/data science experience in Financial Services Industry Experience in working with Python and R Eligibility Criteria: BS or MS in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field with 2+ years of hands-on Retail Card Marketing Analytics experience (Distance learning not valid) or in lieu of a degree with 4+ years of experience For Internal Applicants: Understand the criteria or mandatory skills required for the role, before applying Inform your manager and HRM before applying for any role on Workday. Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Experience in SQL or SAS or Tableau or Open-Source Tools with ability to independently build queries for data extraction & aggregation
  • Comprehend key concepts & processes in Retail Finance on Drivers of Revenue and profitability , translate them into quantitative attributes/metrics.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to clearly express ideas, ask questions, and document work.
  • Problem-solving mindset with curiosity to explore data and uncover insights.
  • Ability to Define Methodology, present insights to larger teams.
