About The Position
HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager of Critical Care to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective operation of the critical care unit, which is essential for providing high-quality patient care. The Nurse Manager will work under the leadership of the Director and will be responsible for planning, organizing, staffing, and directing the functions of the unit. This includes developing plans, policies, and procedures that align with the hospital's objectives to deliver exceptional care. The Manager will also play a crucial role in leading the department and its staff, ensuring quality service is maintained on a 24-hour basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with at least three years of acute care experience and a minimum of one year in a supervisory leadership role. The Manager will be expected to foster a positive work environment, promote teamwork, and ensure that all staff members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide the best care possible. This position requires a commitment to continuous improvement and a passion for patient care, as well as the ability to manage resources effectively and efficiently. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Manager will be involved in budgeting, staffing, and performance evaluations, ensuring that the unit operates within the established guidelines and standards. The role also includes collaborating with other departments and leadership teams to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
