About The Position

The Manager, Credit Card Portfolio (Manager, Product Development) will oversee the entire credit card portfolio lifecycle, including strategic planning, market research, understanding Member needs, introducing and improving products and experiences, and optimizing usage, all focusing on delivering Member value and market competitiveness. This role involves managing the P&L for the credit card portfolio, ensuring growth and efficiency, and driving growth by optimizing usage, increasing adoption, and implementing strategic enhancements. The position requires defining and executing a comprehensive credit card program vision and strategy that meets evolving Member needs and differentiates SchoolsFirst FCU in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience required.
  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of previous related experience required.
  • 3-5 years of previous management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire credit card portfolio lifecycle.
  • Manage P&L for the credit card portfolio.
  • Grow the credit card portfolio by optimizing usage and increasing adoption.
  • Define and execute a comprehensive credit card program vision and strategy.
  • Lead the end-to-end Member experience across the credit card lifecycle.
  • Monitor key financial metrics and make data-informed decisions.
  • Tailor credit card features and benefits to align with specific Member segments.
  • Deliver seamless, engaging Member experiences by collaborating with digital teams.
  • Navigate a competitive market landscape to ensure the credit card program is Member-centric.
  • Clearly articulate the credit card program's value proposition to stakeholders.
  • Partner with the marketing team to design, launch, and measure targeted campaigns.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for program success.
  • Oversee relationships with strategic partners to maximize value.
  • Work with finance to champion competitive pricing strategies.
  • Lead ongoing market research and competitive analysis.
  • Identify and integrate emerging payment technologies into the strategy.
  • Analyze Member behavior and market trends to uncover insights.
  • Collaborate with risk and fraud teams to mitigate portfolio risks.
  • Ensure full compliance with all applicable credit card program regulations.
