About The Position

The Creative Services Manager will lead and shape high-quality design projects that align with strategic objectives, focusing on delivering compelling visual solutions for complex health topics. This role requires a visionary leader who can foster a collaborative environment and maintain the brand's visual identity while mentoring junior designers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years in art direction, with at least 5 years as a Senior Graphic Designer required.
  • Proven experience on both the client and agency sides, with a strong preference for experience in the health-related industry.
  • Certifications in design or art design preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of supervising other visual professionals desired, or a minimum of 8 of their 10 years of experience in relevant roles.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Skills in motion graphics or digital design.

Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership and direction for a team of designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment to produce outstanding design work.
  • Develop and execute creative concepts that meet client needs and project goals, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy and objectives.
  • Serve as the primary creative contact for clients, understanding their requirements, presenting ideas, and incorporating feedback to refine and enhance design solutions.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through to completion, overseeing design quality, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets, and maintaining high standards of excellence.
  • Maintain and evolve the brand's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all channels and materials, and driving the development of new visual elements as needed.
  • Apply knowledge of the health-related industry to craft designs that are visually engaging and sensitive to the complexities of health communication.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers, sharing expertise and providing constructive feedback to support their professional growth and development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to ensure creative work remains cutting-edge and relevant.
