About The Position

SymphonyAI Retail, Inc. seeks a Manager, CPG Engagement in Palo Alto, CA. Duties: Provide the thought leadership and consultative services required to drive customer-centric collaborative engagement between 10-14 CPGs and Topco retailer’s merchandising and marketing departments. Develop close consultative working relationships with CPG sales, customer marketing and shopper insights team members ranging from Team Leader/VPs, Directors and Senior Managers of Sales, Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, Shopper Insights and Analytics. Ensure consistent and effective utilization of Symphony RetailAI tools and services in CPG’s business practices. Ensure they are building their assigned CPG’s skill sets in the application of customer data using Symphony RetailAI’s analytics tools to achieve their CPGs business plans and Topco Retailer’s Customer Strategies. Manage their book of business and be accountable to achieving a 100% renewal number on existing clients, along with owning a new business target comprised of new CPG partners, upselling existing partners, and driving sales through CCR engagement of new tools and solutions. Assist in the development of all sales planning, administration and sales capabilities presentations as required by the Vice President or Directors of CPG Engagement and will manage client system start up, and ongoing system administration. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field plus 3 years of experience. Additionally, position requires 3 years of experience in the following: Solving key business issues and supporting corporate strategies to Director level participants; Creating clear, concise and actionable materials for the client; Managing book of business and accountability for renewing existing clients; Developing and presenting actionable customer insights; Thought leadership to deliver measurable business results. Telecommuting permitted. Requires domestic travel 15% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3 years of experience
  • 3 years of experience in solving key business issues and supporting corporate strategies to Director level participants
  • 3 years of experience in creating clear, concise and actionable materials for the client
  • 3 years of experience in managing book of business and accountability for renewing existing clients
  • 3 years of experience in developing and presenting actionable customer insights
  • 3 years of experience in thought leadership to deliver measurable business results
  • Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S.
