As a Corporate Strategy & Planning Manager, you will serve as a high-impact internal consultant and strategic architect, providing the outside-in perspective needed to drive o9’s growth. Reporting through Finance, you will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, owning evaluations of organizational structure, performance monitoring, and long-range strategic plans. You will be a primary partner to the FP&A team, leading the design of new financial capabilities and unit-level models to ensure our operating model is optimized for pre-IPO scale. The ideal candidate brings a blend of elite analytical rigor and the executive presence required to bridge financial data with operational execution. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and the Board of Directors, suited for a professional looking to drive significant impact in a pre-IPO SaaS environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of experience in top-tier management consulting, private equity, or high-growth corporate strategy or planning team
  • Elite financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to bridge operational KPIs (NRR, Rule of 40) with long-term financial targets
  • Strong storytelling and presentation skills, with experience distilling complex datasets into clear, executive-ready slides
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, high-impact environment
  • Fluency in strategic frameworks and consulting methodologies, including the ability to build "outside-in" market models and conduct thorough industry benchmarking.
  • Strong "Systems Thinking" and structural diagnostic skills, with the ability to look objectively at an organization’s design and identify areas for optimization
  • Strong interpersonal and "influence without authority" skills, allowing for seamless collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Product leadership
  • Experience in organizational change management, with the ability to not only design strategies but also partner with functional leads to ensure operational adoption
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting and the bridge between financial statements and operational performance
  • Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint (or Google Workspace equivalent) to build dynamic models and board-ready collateral; familiarity with BI tools or SQL is a plus
  • Experience within the Enterprise SaaS and/or Supply Chain industries, with a curiosity-driven mindset toward disruptive technologies

Responsibilities

  • Drive the alignment and execution of operational plans in partnership with GTM/Product leaders, ensuring sales capacity and product initiatives are synchronized with long-term financial targets
  • Develop the analytical foundation for the "Equity Story" by translating business performance into data-backed narratives for Board of Directors and Investor reporting cycles
  • Partner on GTM and Product Strategy initiatives, providing the financial modeling, project management, and coordination required to launch new products
  • Analyze resource allocation frameworks, evaluating business initiatives to provide data-driven recommendations that maximize ROI and capital efficiency
  • Act as an internal consultant to evaluate organizational structures and functional performance, ensuring our operating model is optimized to meet long-term strategic objectives
  • Architect new Finance capabilities and unit-level models, partnering with FP&A to design granular profitability frameworks and standardized processes that scale with the organization
  • Lead high-impact projects by managing cross-functional initiatives that address critical business bottlenecks or high-priority strategic requests from the executive team
  • Cultivate and manage high-trust partnerships across the organization, acting as a reliable bridge between Finance and functional teams to ensure operational alignment
  • Manage the Competitive Intelligence engine, monitoring market shifts and peer performance to provide leadership with actionable data and insights
  • Evolve corporate reporting solutions, tracking core KPIs to identify levers for top- and bottom-line performance
  • Support M&A and Corporate Development through the creation of financial business cases, valuation models, and strategic fit evaluations
