SUMMARY Leads the Corporate Strategy and Enterprise Quality team that develops and executes tracking of the company’s strategic plan and annual objectives while advancing enterprise-wide operational excellence initiatives. The position ensures the organization remains agile, resilient, and prepared to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry landscape. Working closely with cross-functional leaders, this role aligns enterprise strategy with organizational priorities, translating vision into actionable plans that drive measurable results. In partnership with departments across the organization, the role identifies opportunities to improve performance, streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance quality. By leveraging continuous improvement methodologies, this leader fosters a culture of efficiency, accountability, and sustained excellence.

Requirements

  • Requires minimum 8 years job related work experience and 2 years in a leadership role in excess of degree requirements.
  • Minimum years of job related experience can include time in leadership roles.
  • Bachelor's Degree : Engineering, Computer Science. Business, Accounting, Auditing or related field (Required) or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, training, and performance management of staff.
  • Frequently interacts with reporting supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas or customers.
  • Responsible for the management of subordinate staff within a department.
  • Typically has individual contributors as direct reports, but could have supervisory direct reports.
  • Has full responsibility for direct reports.
  • Generally provides input to budgeting and financial decisions that impact the department.
  • Requests approval for financial actions beyond a limited scope.
  • Leads the team that oversees the development, refinement, and governance of the company’s strategic plan, ensuring alignment with executive priorities and enterprise objectives.
  • Oversees the execution and tracking of strategic initiatives and annual objectives, including performance dashboards, KPIs, and progress reporting to leadership.
  • Leads and facilitates cross-functional planning sessions to translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
  • Oversees the establishment and maintenance of enterprise performance management processes to monitor results, identify gaps, and drive accountability.
  • Leads a center of excellence focused on enterprise-wide operational excellence education, communication, framework consistency, quality maturity, and recognition.
  • Works with business leaders to prioritize initiatives focused on process optimization, cost reduction, quality improvement, and risk mitigation.
  • Oversees the identification of process inefficiencies and performance barriers through data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and structured problem-solving methodologies.
  • Champions continuous improvement practices (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, root cause analysis) to drive sustainable operational enhancements.
  • Partners with business leaders to standardize best practices, streamline workflows, and improve cross-departmental coordination.
  • Oversees and develops executive-level reporting materials and insights that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Supports organizational change initiatives by ensuring strategic initiatives are effectively communicated, adopted, and embedded into daily operations.
  • Monitors industry trends and emerging risks to ensure the strategic plan remains adaptive and forward-looking.
  • Fosters a culture of accountability, operational rigor, and continuous improvement across the enterprise.
  • Provides reports and dashboards to Senior Leadership and the Board, as needed.
  • Plans for and facilitates recurring Risk and Strategy Meeting with Executive Staff.
  • Oversees the training and coaching of employees on continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma.
  • Facilitates workshops and internal events to promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • May participate in audits to ensure compliance with quality standards
