About The Position

The Manager of Corporate Partnership Development is responsible for driving new sales prospects and cultivating partnerships with regional, national, and international companies. This role involves creative prospecting, relationship building, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to generate partnership revenue. The position requires a strong understanding of the sports industry and digital sales, along with the ability to tailor proposals that meet brand needs and market trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications or marketing.
  • Minimum of 2+ years proven sales experience in the major league sports industry.
  • Solid understanding of digital sales and revenue cultivation through content.
  • Proficient in sales strategy, cultivation, and negotiation.
  • Experience using Salesforce for at least 2+ years.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and related computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent ability to establish rapport and build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
  • Team player.

Responsibilities

  • Lead with a steadfast pursuit of new sales prospects through creative prospecting techniques.
  • Proactively handle prospect pipeline and creative outreach plan for potential partnership opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships and rapport to identify opportunities that solve business problems.
  • Build and manage relationships with key sports and marketing agencies.
  • Attend network and promotional events to develop and maintain contact with potential clients.
  • Establish relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive new partnership revenue.
  • Use business industry intel, analytics, and research in the prospecting and pitch process.
  • Position as a brand marker by understanding brand needs and market trends for tailored proposals.
  • Lead in the exploration and growth of partnerships by maximizing creative ideas.
  • Work closely with internal teams to produce elite pitches and presentations.
