About The Position

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Law or a related field of study required
  • Experience in contract management, healthcare contracting, or managed care 3-5 years required
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role 2-3 years required
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for healthcare contracts.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret contract terms and legal language.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, negotiates, and manages corporate contracts to support the hospital's strategic goals and operational needs.
  • Collaborates with clinical, financial, and operational teams to ensure contract terms align with organizational objectives.
  • Ensures contracts comply with hospital policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains and updates a contract management database, tracking contract status, renewals, and performance metrics.
  • Identifies opportunities to optimize contract terms, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
  • Liaises with external partners, including vendors, insurers, and managed care organizations, to negotiate and execute contracts.
  • Reviews contract performance regularly, recommending adjustments or renegotiations as necessary to meet evolving hospital needs.
  • Provides guidance and support to hospital leadership regarding contractual obligations, risk management, and legal considerations.
