About The Position

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience performing similar corporate actions duties for a buy side asset manager.
  • Previous management experience required.
  • Knowledge of global fixed income and equity securities.
  • Knowledge of taxable and non-taxable transaction processing.
  • Experience using Bloomberg.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and trading.
  • Experience in Advent Geneva preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for monitoring all voluntary and mandatory corporate actions, including but not limited to exchanges, consents, tenders, puts, calls, stock splits, mergers, spin-offs, and conversions.
  • Interact with Portfolio Management Groups to ensure all necessary elections are received and acted upon accordingly.
  • Ensure all necessary corporate action instructions are issued and acknowledged by custodians and counterparties within the required deadlines.
  • Ensure accurate processing of all corporate actions on internal systems and ensure accurate postings for trading and Portfolio Management reporting.
  • Build, manage and enhance relationships with internal clients and external partners.
  • Develop, modify and manage workflows and procedures designed to increase controls and improve efficiency.
  • Responsible for staff development and coaching of all direct reports.
