As a Contracts Manager supporting Collins Aerospace’s Strategic Defense Solutions portfolio in Richardson, TX, you’ll play a critical role in advancing U.S. Air Force Nuclear Command, Control and Communications (NC3) programs that are foundational to national security. Embedded within Mission Systems, you’ll serve as a strategic business partner to Program Managers and Government/Prime customers, shaping pursuits, negotiating complex agreements, and guiding contract execution in a highly regulated, high-visibility defense environment. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence mission-critical programs while operating at the intersection of strategy, compliance, and customer engagement. From capture and proposal development through negotiation and full lifecycle contract management, you’ll provide sound business judgment across Cost Plus and Firm Fixed Price development programs. You’ll assess contractual risk, craft negotiation strategies, ensure FAR/DFARS compliance, and lead disciplined change management processes that protect the business while enabling program success.
