About the position

At MGM Resorts, our Strategic Sourcing team helps shape the future of hospitality through smart partnerships and efficient procurement. As a Strategic Sourcing Contract Manager, you'll manage sourcing activities and contract negotiations that support both Las Vegas and regional properties-especially within the Food & Beverage category. We're looking for a highly motivated, analytical, and collaborative individual to drive meaningful impact across a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support sourcing efforts for assigned products, services, and projects across business departments and MGM Resorts properties.
  • Prepare, issue, and analyze RFx documents (RFPs, RFQs, RFIs), collaborating with stakeholders to determine award strategies.
  • Develop and execute negotiation strategies that align with business objectives and cost-savings targets.
  • Perform total cost analyses, benchmark comparisons, and cost trend evaluations.
  • Support the creation of category strategies and annual savings plans.
  • Assist with the execution of each phase of the 7-step sourcing process.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with applicable gaming jurisdiction requirements.
  • Coordinate with Legal, Risk, and internal stakeholders to redline and execute contracts, including master agreements, statements of work, change orders, amendments, and renewals.
  • Maintain up-to-date contract documentation and ensure accurate uploading to the contract repository.
  • Perform spend analysis and identify cost trends, opportunities, and discrepancies within assigned categories.
  • Serve as a liaison with internal departments to align on business needs, negotiation outcomes, and supplier performance.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent
  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Proven experience analyzing supplier proposals and redlining contracts.
  • Familiarity with RFx tools, sourcing platforms, and contract management systems.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and communicate with all levels of the organization.
