About The Position
The Planning Design and Construction Department (PD&C) at Stanford Medicine - Stanford Health Care is responsible for medical planning, capital improvement projects, real estate acquisition, construction, and ensuring compliance with the master plan and design aesthetics of the hospitals. The Construction Manager is responsible for managing construction related activities under the general supervision of the Director of Construction. This position conducts weekly construction progress meetings to discuss and resolve issues relating to RFI's, submittals, substitutions, schedule, extra work and quality of work. Prepares and distributes meeting minutes promptly. Interfaces with the Project Managers ensuring the clients/users and all other project participants including consultants, contractors, vendors, and outside jurisdictional agencies are all participating in the project in an efficient and effective manner.
